One morning I woke up at 4:00am, went down to my computer, and decided to build a website. Honey and dijon mustard are two of my favorite foods. I had this strange impulse to build a site about honey and dijon mustard products and recipes. I grew up working with honey bees. The preferred honey yield in my area, which is the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, is called sourwood honey. Sourwood honey in the Blue Ridge mountains is what I consider one of life's finer pleasures. It comes from the bloom of the sourwood tree. This honey has a mystical deep taste to it that's hard to describe. If the honey is pure sourwood honey, your nasal passages will get a jolt that you won't soon forget. Sourwood honey has some medicinal value, as well as health benefits. It is rumored that the comb of honey is good for your heart.

As you can see, I really like honey Dijon mustard. When I started the Honey Dijon Mustard website, it was with the intention of selling honey and mustard products. That didn't pan out so well, when my supplier went out of business. I got another supplier, and then that supplier went belly up. So much for the Dot-Com boom.
