CHEESE FONDUE 8 slices bread (2 days old) 3 tablespoons salad dressing 4 slices American cheese (4 x 4 inch slices) 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk 1 1/2 cup water 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Set oven at 350 degrees. Grease well a 9-inch square baking pan. Spread bread with salad dressing. Place 4 slices, spread side up, in prepared pan. Place cheese on each slice of bread. Place other 4 slices of bread, spread side down, over cheese. Put nonfat dry milk into a bowl. Stir in water gradually. Mix in eggs, and salt. Pour milk mixture over bread and cheese. Let stand 15 minutes. Bake on center rack of oven until golden brown, or about 45 minutes. Serve hot. Yield:4 servings Temperature: 350 degrees
